Serving fine food since 1959

In the summer of 1959, the McCormick family transformed an antique Cape Cod captain's cottage into a small restaurant and named it The Ebb Tide.

In the years that followed, The Ebb Tide grew....

The upstairs Topside Lounge was added in 1975, as well as an outdoor terrace.
In 1983, the terrace was fully enclosed and renamed The Garden Room.

Today, from the lobby, you can still see the original captain's cottage, now surrounded by the continuing additions.

Like the restaurant itself, the Ebb Tide menu has also grown over the years, offering classical New England cuisine, from fresh fish caught in local waters to prime cuts of roast beef.

Every Ebb Tide recipe originates within the McCormick family.

You can be assured that there is always a McCormick working -- either behind the scenes or in front of the house -- to maintain the high standards set for our guests.

How to find us...

• Approaching the Cape on Route 3 (or on Route 6), cross the Sagamore Bridge and take Mid-Cape Highway (Route 6) to Route 134 South in Dennis (Exit 9A).
• Bear right off the exit ramp and proceed South on Route 134 to Route 28.
• Turn left and pass through the Village of Dennisport and into West Harwich.
• Turn right on Belmont Road and follow to end, at the ocean.
• Turn right onto Chase Avenue, and The Ebb Tide Restaurant is immediately on your right.
